I think kipanya above says the cost of corruption are ultimately passed on to either the taxpayers (wananchi)of paying for the interest. When it is govt. officials traking the corruption, it usually means we are getting shoddy road work, poor cement, or poor service.

Thank you ccm marekani for the good catch

That's right, The extra cost to the taxpayers. The poor quality of workmanship. The dishonesty and illegality involved.

Rais wetu anaitaji ushirikiano mkubwa kutoka kwetu wananchi

Wana CCM MAREKANI na mimi nawapongeza kwa huu mtandao. Sasa sijui kama viongozi wetu wanatambua huu mchango wenu katika taifa letu.

Amani

Corruption is an odd thing - sometimes it cuts through all the red tape and gets things done - and done quickly.

On the other hand it`s catching, and in the end, like a dirty snowball, it gets bigger and dirtier the more it rolls, and in the end does great damage.

The result is that many mantazanians, even while expressing outrage against corruption privately, are publicly indifferent to its manifestation, especially if they are situated in social networks that benefit from the patronage politics through which corruption thrives. As a result they feel too culturally complicit to take a stand. This kind of complicity makes official policy against corruption difficult because it mitigates the public pressure necessary for official action against corruption.

Our country is already poor, corruption is becoming a death sentence for our citizens. That is the reality to most of tanzanians. But if our country was not poor, corruption’s impact on our citizens’ standard of living will not be insignificant. This has been the reality in the rich countries

Those Tanzania leaders corrupted, you need to understand tanzanians suffering because of you being ccorrupted are your brothers and sisters

Maoni yangu ndio hayo.

There are two major forms of corruption in tanzania—the official and the quotidian. Of these two, government official corruption is the most consequential in terms of poverty and underdevelopment of our country.

The corruption of our government officials perpetuates and exacerbates the poverty that nurtures quotidian citizen corruption—the corrupt practices of the tanzania street—not the other way round. In other words, poverty is the mother of corruption. It is also, sadly, sometimes its devastating outcome

Believe me we need a government that work for the people not the government that work for top leaders.

Dk. Jk we know your strong and we support you, what you need is being carefully of who is working with you.
