Tanzania’s Simba Omit Key Striker Musa Hassan Mgosi For The Up-coming Season

The player is heading for Norway for trials which he must now pass or face the whole season without a club

A source within the TFF confirmed that Mgosi has been dropped from the Msimbazi Street club’s list for the next Premier League season.

The source said that Mgosi, who is reportedly going for trials at Norway’s Kongsvinger, has been replaced by Mtibwa Sugar’s budding striker Zahoro Pazi.

“Mgosi brought the letter signed by Simba chairman Hassan Dalali, confirming that the club has decided to cut off his name in the list of player who will feature for the club next season,” said the source.

Saturday was the deadline for the Premier League teams to submit their lists of players for next season's league. When asked to pass comment, Mgosi was shocked by the report that his name has been removed. However, he confirmed that he would be leaving for Norway soon.

“I’ve not been informed about the cut-off. I don’t think Simba's officials could do such a thing. I’ll go for trials in Norway and you cannot be sure whether you will pass or not. It’s gambling,” the shocked Mgosi said. “If the deal fails to go through, I’ll have to rejoin Simba.”

If he is successful, Mgosi will join former team-mate Henry Joseph, who recently signed a four-year deal with the Norwegian club, as well as Nigerian youngster Emeh Izuchukwu
